Gastric Balloon Insertion

What is Gastric Balloon Insertion?

Gastric balloon insertion is a non-surgical weight loss intervention. A soft silicone balloon is inserted endoscopically into the stomach and filled with 500–700ml of saline. The balloon remains in place for 6 to 12 months.

The balloon occupies gastric space, slows stomach emptying, and reduces appetite - helping you feel full sooner and for longer.
